Starby Art is designed to let artists create without requiring an account during beta.

Local project data

Starby Art may save projects, brushes, stamps, palettes, preferences, and autosave recovery data in your browser storage. This data stays on your device unless you export it, import it somewhere else, or later choose a cloud feature.

Files you export

When you export artwork, proof clips, project files, or stamp backups, those files are saved by your browser to your device. You control where those files go.

Beta backup guidance

For important art, export a `.starby` project backup and a finished image file outside the browser. Browser storage is convenient, but a downloaded file is easier for you to copy, archive, and move between devices.

Accounts and payments

The beta app does not require an account. Future Pro features may require account or payment processing, and this policy should be updated before those features launch.
