Privacy Policy

Starby Art is designed to let artists create without requiring an account during beta.

Your drawings stay on your device

Starby Art does not receive, upload, or store your drawings, project files, brushes, stamps, palettes, or settings on our servers. They are saved in your browser's storage on your own device, and in any files you choose to save. We cannot see them, and we cannot recover them for you.

Files you export

When you export artwork, proof clips, project files, or stamp backups, those files are saved by your browser to your device. You control where those files go.

Keeping your work safe

Use File > Save to My Device to keep a .starby file of each drawing somewhere you choose, such as a folder on your computer or the Files app. Use File > Back Up Brushes, Stamps & Settings to keep a copy of your tools. Browser storage can be erased when you clear your browsing data, and some browsers (including Safari on iPhone and iPad) may clear it after a period without use. Keeping your saved files and backups is your responsibility.

Forms you send

When you join the email list or send a request or support message, we keep your email address and what you wrote so we can read it and reply. It is not sold or shared. To be removed from the list, email hello@starbyart.com.

Accounts and payments

The beta app does not require an account. Future Pro features may require account or payment processing, and this policy should be updated before those features launch.

Anonymous usage analytics

Starby Art may collect privacy-friendly analytics so we can understand visits, device types, session length, referrers, and broad app actions such as opening the app, importing a file, using Paint For Me, saving, or exporting. These analytics use anonymous browser IDs and server logs. They do not include your artwork, project files, brush files, email address, payment details, or the contents of anything you draw or open in the app.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, Starby Art's browser analytics script does not run. Basic server logs may still be created by the web server for security and reliability.
