Save safely

The beta backup habit

Starby Art can autosave in your browser, but browser storage is not the same as a file you control. For important art, export a `.starby` backup and keep finished image exports in a normal folder on your device.

  1. While drawing: use File, Save Project for the browser copy.
  2. Before refreshing or testing: use File, Export `.starby`.
  3. When finished: export PNG, transparent PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF.
  4. When process matters: use Proof Timelapse and save the replay clip.
